im saying that the statistic of football player living an average of 20 years less than the average human is a statistic taken of players who play through college and nfl. that was the statistic he gave, in any sport theres a possibility of recieving a life changing injury just as there is everytime you walk out your door. though that percentage is highest for football, it dosent account for every players life span.

Shut up! i played football as a teen and didnt have to put on any weight. i was a starting second team all state offensive guard and i was 6ft 150lbs. i was tiny compared to the opposition, i learned technique, and did great without adding weight. so shut up, football is just about as american as it gets, dont turn kids off this sport you ugly shirtless bastard

man everyone is genetically different. Some people can gain weight fast while others cant. At the end of august i was 160 pounds, i'm now at 175 without taking any steroids but by just eating healthy and hitting the gym or staying active 5-6 times a week.
